Time to build on your knowledge and skills from Level 1 and after the Level 2 you will be able to sail in moderate weather without an Instructor on board.

Although the Level 2 is offered as a single module of 15 hours of tuition spread over your holiday time or weekends, many people pull it together with the Level 1 and enjoy four days out on the water. Or if you’ve already completed Level 1, why not add the Level 3 and you can make some serious progress.

The RYA Level 2 Sailing for adults course is delivered using our modern fleet of dinghies and covers more in-depth knowledge of:

  • Rigging
  • Rope work and knots
  • Practical sailing manoeuvres
  • Clothing and equipment
  • Rules of the ‘road’ and safety

  • £150 pp

Money from every activity you purchase goes directly to helping those less fortunate to try the same activities. You can see where your money makes a difference by checking out our charity page for our latest projects.

Harbour Challenge is easy to find - we are in the centre of Hamworthy Park in Poole. You can leave your car at Hamworthy Park Surface Car Park and take a short walk to the Centre. Please note that this is now a pay and display carpark between March to October.

Take the main path through the park, walk past the paddling pool and cafe to the cream-coloured building at the end of the park. This is the main Harbour Challenge Centre.
